zenmaya's corner

im maya, im a creature of the internet. i do a lot of stuff, you can see below some of my projects. feel free to reach me on fedi or email. i am openly a political person, an anarchist both generally and in relationships. i have some experience with electrical engineering so it may happen that there appears some of that in the future.

project-wise im interested in recreational programming and programming language theory, which i have both written my thesis on and on which i am following some research at the moment.

projects

you can find most of my projects either on codeberg or on my personal forge (i mirror public code to codeberg)

leti

lesbian evil text inscriber a single file editor i develop for my personal use. it is greatly inspired by emacs, my current editor of choice, but leti is completely asynchronous and renders using wgpu.

prowl

— a knowledge base with bring your own editor philosophy. fully customizable knowledge base, static site generator and others from the comfort of your own text editor. by abusing the lsp-protocol i was able to replace most of the obsidian.md functionality without having to resort to a proprietary electron app.

emacs-manager.nix

— my management of my emacs config. using a custom nixos-like module system. aiming to be the as doom-emacs for people who use nix.

flag.zig

— a simple library to parse command line arguments in a comfy api that doesn't get in the way.

zig-memutils

— a reference counted pointer implementation and other "smart" pointers that make apis more clear in unsafe languages like zig.

3d-viewer

— a venture into the realm of 3d, opengl and c++. it has been a fun experiment in writing horrible c++ meta heavy code that is somewhat useful.
